As a newly registered user in the UK, you can now obtain an access code to HDA from diabetes clinics associated with Hedia. Should you have any inquiries, please reach out via email at support@hedia.com.

The Hedia diabetes app is designed to support users in achieving more stable blood sugar levels. This comprehensive tool serves as your personal diabetes tracker and logbook.

Functions offered by the app include:
<ul>
 <li>Carbohydrate tracking for meals and drinks through an extensive food database.</li>
 <li>Insulin dosage recommendations.</li>
 <li>Recommendations based on carbohydrate intake or insulin needs during episodes of hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia.</li>
 <li>Reminders to assist in blood sugar regulation, accessible on both smartphones and Apple Watches.</li>
 <li>A personal dashboard and logbook, summarizing diabetes data such as average blood sugar levels, time in range, active insulin levels, and carbohydrate intake.</li>
</ul>

Hedia has been recognized as the Best HealthTech Startup at the Nordic Startup Awards. The app was developed collaboratively by engineers, healthcare professionals, and individuals living with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Its goal is to streamline the daily complexities of diabetes management.

The app is particularly beneficial for those who are insulin-dependent, primarily individuals with type 1 diabetes, though it remains useful for all diabetes patients.

Please note that while the Hedia diabetes app has received CE certification from the Danish Medicines Board, indicating compliance with safety standards for products sold in the European Economic Area, it has not been developed or endorsed by Novo Nordisk A/S. Compatibility with NovoPen® devices has also not been evaluated by them.
